Child safety on Kreiso

Our standard

Child sexual abuse and exploitation has no place on Kreiso, and there is no exception to that.

It is prohibited to use Kreiso to share, request or link to material that sexually exploits a child; to sexually solicit, groom or approach a minor; to arrange or promote the sexual abuse or trafficking of a child; or to bring anybody under our minimum age onto the service.

This standard is part of our Community Guidelines and our Terms, and breaking it is not a warning offence.

Kreiso is for people aged 16 and over

We ask for a date of birth when you sign up, and accounts below 16 are not accepted. Individual events carry a higher minimum age, stated in the event description, in particular 18 where spirits are served.

Kreiso is not a service for children, and it is not designed for them.

How to report it

In the app. Press and hold any message and choose Report. Reports reach a person, and you never have to tell the other participant that you reported them.

Anywhere else, and for anything urgent, write to the contact below.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first. In Germany that is 110.

What we do when we receive a report

  • We remove the content.
  • We terminate the account, and we take steps to stop that person opening another one.
  • We report the matter to the Bundeskriminalamt, and we cooperate with any request from the authorities.

Reporting to law enforcement is not a favour we do at our discretion. Under Art. 18 of the Digital Services Act, we are required to inform the authorities promptly when we become aware of information suggesting a criminal offence that threatens someone's life or safety.
